This is magic that happens in the magician’s hands or those of a spectator and does not require the use of a table. It is ideal at the champagne reception when the bride and groom are having their photographs taken. This kind of performance can engage different groups of people who have never met before and leave them entertained, amused and even sometimes bewildered but always with a definite topic of conversation. The bride and groom are not forgotten and are treated to their own mini show while relaxing with a glass of champagne before going in to dinner
There is a point at every wedding between the speeches and the band which is an ideal time to do something really different. A stand up comedy magic show is visual, funny and highly entertaining for everybody even the children. The show of forty minutes duration has lots of audience participation which includes the bride and groom performing their very own special trick which creates in itself a wonderful photo opportunity.
Although this is referred to as table magic is does not require the use of a table in that context. It is close-up interactive magic performed between courses at each individual table during the meal. Once again a lot of the magic happens in the hands of a spectator but it is presented like a mini show lasting from five to seven minutes depending on the number of tables. The top table will be treated as three tables with a performance in the centre and at either end so everyone can enjoy the magic at close quarters. The fact that most people at the table will know each other will create a good atmosphere enhancing the entertainment value of the performance.
